Lions Club Miss Working Girl pageant 2015
View(s):The Miss Working Girl pageant; organised as a primary fundraiser by the Lions Club of Thimbirigasyaya District 306 C2, will be held for the 19th consecutive year in 2015, at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo.
Entry coupons will appear in Daily Mirror, The Sunday Times and Lankadeepa. All working girls between the ages of 18 and 27 are encouraged to sign up for the competition. Each entry must be sent in with a letter from the current employer which confirms the contestant’s employment and other documentation required by the organisers.
The winners will be crowned at the main pageant, which will be held on March 26, 2015. A series of mini- pageants such as Miss Photogenic, Miss Beautiful Hair and Miss Congeniality will also take place. Attractive gifts, ranging from a brand new motor vehicle to airline tickets, are in store for those who emerge victorious.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to funding a pre-school and the Punarjeewa Heart Fund.
