Stamp in honour of Murali?

The recent decision to issue a stamp in praise of Mahela Jayawardena’s performances on his retirement from test Cricket received much acclaim. At the same time queries arose why the achievements of Arujna Ranatunga, our only World Cup winning captain, and Muttiah Muralitharan, world record holder with 800 Test Wickets have not been similiarly recognised.
Though somewhat late it will certainly be appreciated by all if this omission is rectified. It can be done without any prjuduce to anyone. AR’s achievement is certainly special to Sri Lanka and that of Murali is a World Record – there cannot be any dispute.
