Walk to mark start of St. Benedict’s 150th year celebrations

a Catholic educational institution managed by the De La Salle Brothers since 1865  will be celebrating its 150th jubilee in 2015 with a series of programmes which will commence with the “Benedictine Walk” on February 7, 2015..As an awareness programme leading to the Walk, the Old Boys’ Union has organised a get-together at the Old Bens’ Sports Club on December 5, 2014 (Friday) from 7 p.m. onwards, coinciding with the launching of the walk. A panel discussion will be held, followed by a pre-Poya Entertainment Nite with DJ Music.All Old Boys, friends and well-wishers are welcome to attend the event The Walk Committee is being assisted by Rev. Fr. Praveen Vaz and Randolph Perera.
