Wet weather hampers Merc ‘C’ division
The 4th BMW-Hyundai Trophy, MCA ‘C’ division 50-Over League Tournament 2015 got off to a disappointing start during last weekend.

Out of the four matches billed for the week-end, two matches got completely washed out.
Airport & Aviation Services and Peoples Leasing & Finance PLC recorded the first wins in the tournament.
Opening weekend’s batting and bowling honours went to Peoples Leasing & Finance PLC’s Nadun Sanjeewa, who scored a valiant 83 runs in 88 balls, hitting two sixes and a dozen fours and Pramodya Gunasekera who bagged 4 for 29 in 10 Overs inclusive of two maidens respectively, against Softlogic Holdings. Peoples Leasing won by three wickets.
The tournament will be continued this week-end, with the following card of four matches: Airport & Aviation Services Vs. Std. Chartered Bank at MCA; Peoples Leasing & Finance PLC Vs. Janashakthi Insurance ‘A’ at Thurstan; JL Morison Vs. Dialog Axiata ‘A’ at MCA and Softlogic 
Holdings Vs. Commercial Leasing Co. at Campbell Park.
