Barry Brothers grab 15 medals at Swimming Gala 2014
View(s):Barry brothers, Murthaaz and Nabeel of Wesley College stole the limelight winning 15 medals at the Wesley College Swimming Gala 2014 held 
recently at the College swimming pool at Karlsruhe Gardens in Borella.
At this meet two brothers Ahamed Murthaaz Abdul Barry and Mohamed Nabeel Abdul Barry performed well to grab 15 medals. Murthaaz while establishing a new record in the Under-13 50m Backstroke category won its gold medal. He went on to grab three more gold, four silver and three bronze medals. He was also part of the victorious 4x50m relay team.
Nabeel while establishing a new record in the Under-11 200m Individual Medley event, winning a gold medal, a silver and three bronze medals. The main event was graced by the renowned sportsman of Wesley College, Capt. Navin de Silva as the chief guest. Challenge trophies were awarded to winners of each category at this colorful event.
