Google SL’s Rohan Jayaweera joins Micro image Mobile Media
View(s):Rohan Jayaweera, former country consultant to Google – Sri Lanka, has joined Microimage Mobile Media as the Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Jayaweera, according to a Microimage announcement on Tuesday, was the first representative for Google in Sri Lanka where he drove all initiatives to and from Sri Lanka. Prior to Google he worked in Singapore as a Business consultant. Mr. Jayasekera has represented other technology companies such as Cisco Systems, IBM, Lenovo in his career. He is a renowned industry personality where he speaks/moderates in numerous industry events.

Mr. Jayaweera said that his new job “is a very exciting prospect for me. Most of my career I have helped tech multinational companies to be successful in Sri Lanka and now I get the chance to take a Sri Lankan technology pioneer to international markets”.
