Brighten someone’s life with HelpAge cards this season
View(s):HelpAge Sri Lanka (HASL) has produced over 100,000 seasonal greeting cards for Christmas and the New Year season. Proceeds from their sale will be utilized to conduct free cataract surgeries and mobile medical camps for underprivileged senior citizens in the country.
The greeting cards are adorned with colourful photographs, paintings and graphic designs.
The greeting cards could be obtained from HASL Head Office, at No- 102. Pemananda Mawatha, Raththanapitiya , Boralesgamuwa, and also from leading book shops and Super Markets
HASL, Executive Director Samantha Liyanawaduge said about 17 cataract surgeries are conducted every day free of charge for needy citizens with the latest Foldable Intraocular Lenses at their Eye Care Hospital, No- 14, Sinsapa Road, Wellawatta, Colombo 6.
The cards are priced at Rs. 35 and Rs. 40 each.
