Amaya does well in gymnastics
View(s):Amaya Sithumini Kottegoda of Sirimavo Bandaranaike College, Colombo 7, was chosen as the Overall Women’s Champion in all the events of gymnastics at the All Island Schools Sports Tournament conducted by the Ministry of Education. She was able to secure the first place in ‘Pole Balancing’, ‘Horse Jump’, ‘Ground Exercises’ and ‘Imbalanced Pole’ in the under 15 category.
