Appeal to save a life

Sisil Wijesekara, 56, a father of two is to undergo a kidney transplant. He is being treated by Dr. Chula Herath.

Since May 2014, he has been undergoing dialysis twice a week at a cost of Rs. 12,000 per session – 96,000 a month. Having to pay for the donor’s medical tests, the costs amount to more than Rs. 1.5 million which he cannot afford.
