Royal runners-up
View(s):The Under-8 tennis team of Royal College Colombo emerged runners-up in the Orange Ball category of the All-Island 10s Tennis Tournament conducted by the Carlton Sports Club.
Ten highly talented tennis players represented Royal College in the Under-8 category which provides them of a hopeful future in the sport. The team was coached by Sooriyakumar Hariprashanth, Kajendran Kajakanth, Mohamed Azir and Kajendran Abarajithan. The youngsters who represented Royal were Umar, Isula, Nithila, Thevinu, Dharweesh, Imthisal, Lakindu, Thilina, Thevjan and Dillon. The tournament was held at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) court in Colombo. – NA
