Sing-A-long with Annesley
View(s):A grand Sing-A-long featuring Annesley Malawana and Super Chimes will come alive on 18 January 2015 at the BMICH Banquet Hall Starting at 7.00pm. Organised by the Lions Club of Oruwala, this Sing-A long is presented to raise funds for the project ‘Shelter for Homeless’ for a needy family.
As always, Annesley and Super Chimes will keep the audience entertained with their ever green hits of 60s and 70s both Sinhala and English. Annesley has been in the forefront for many Sing-A-Long events in Colombo, Kandy, Galle and Negombo. The Super Chimes comprises of Channa Athalage on guitar, Dilip Fernando on keyboards, Asha Fernando on drums and Yasantha Pieris on bass guitar.
The Lions Club of Oruwala is affiliated to the Lions Clubs International District 306C1 of Sri Lanka. Lions over the years have undertaken many meaningful projects that had an impact to the lives of less fortunate segment of the community. ‘Sight first’ campaign, which provides facilities for cataract surgeries and spectacles, works immensely on prevention of blindness.
