A day of festive fun for children of Lankadhara Balika Home
View(s):Embracing the spirit of the Christmas season, the findmyfare.com team recently shared a day of festive fun with children from the Sri Lankadhara Balika Home. The findmyfare.com team members decorated the home and joined the children for lunch, played games with the children and sang Christmas carols with them. One of the team members dressed up as Santa Claus to surprise the children with gifts, sweets and toys.
The day then continued with more games and ended with a special hamper being donated to each child. Around 36 children are cared for at the home, and the entire findmyfare.com team of 34 employees came together to brighten up the season for them.
findmyfare.com, has been raising funds for the home in December through a Facebook campaign. The team allocated Rs. 20 for each ‘like’ the Christmas initiative received in the last week and donated all proceeds to the home.
