‘Nari Burathi’ at New Town Hall
View(s):‘Nari Burathi’ a comedy drama written and directed by Sarath Kothalawala, will be staged at the air-conditioned New Town Hall Colombo 7. Two special shows would be staged on January 25 at 3.30 pm and 6.45 pm. A host of popular artistes are in the cast including Sarath Kothalawala, Kumara Thirimadura, Pubudu Chathuranga, Mihira Sirithilaka, Sarath Chandrasiri, Hemantha lriyagama, Chinthaka Peiris, Janaka Ranasinghe and Wajira Kodithuwakku.
Stage settings by Premalal Liyanage, music composition and stage management are done by Wimalajith Dombagahawatte while Upul Sampath, Harsha Malinda and Indika Niroshana will assist in the stage management. Costume designing will be done by Pushpa Samanthi Kothalawala and makeup by Janaka Ranasinghe.
Sound management will be handled by Chandana Nishantha Peiris and stage lighting by Upul Weerasinghe. “Nari Burathi” is organized by Jude Srimal. Tickets are available at Sarasavi Book shop Nugegoda, Sadeepa Book Shop Borella, and at the gate.
