Applications now open for ‘Children’s Leadership Training Programme’
View(s):Applications are currently being entertained for the Colombo Children Book Society’s “Children’s Leadership Training Programme”, to be held late February.
This training programme educates children on aspects of Leadership as Responsibilities and Duties; and the importance of the role of leader and of mutual understanding.
Children trained at this camp will be appointed ‘Child Leaders’ at the children’s summer camp to be held on World Children’s Book Day in April this year.
Students aged 8 to 18 can apply.
Children with exceptional abilities (in any sphere) and who have held positions of leadership in an academic environment or in sports, will be given special consideration.
Applications must be sent along with a resume, before January 31. Further information can be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope, or by contacting the Society on 0718 153 788.
