Colombo Courtyard wins accolades
View(s):Competing amongst the best hotels and hospitality related companies among 47 countries across the world, the Colombo Courtyard boutique hotel 
won two 5 Star awards in the categories of Small Hotel and Spa Hotel for Sri Lanka in the Asia Pacific Region Hotel Awards for 2014. The award ceremony was held at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square on January 26, 2015.
This award is sponsored by the leaders in the industry and Rolls-Royce. Winners initially have to prove they are the best nationally before competing against other top scoring hotels from across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Americas, Arabia, Africa and the Britain.
Each entry was subject to extensive scrutiny by the International Hotel Awards’ judging panel, chaired by Sir David Michels, retired Chief Executive of the Hilton Group, who is currently President of both the Tourism Alliance and Institute of Hospitality.
