The following is an analysis of the data received to each of the nine questions in the RCB pre and post budget street polls:

Are people free to express their views?

While a large percentage of the people believe that there is freedom of speech, that has significantly reduced from the pre to post budget evaluation

Has abuse of power been eradicated or minimized?

While many feel abuse of power has been largely minimized that belief is seen significantly lower in post budget evaluation

Have measures been taken to reduce the cost of living?

There was significant improvement from the pre to the post budget evaluation among those agreeing that the new government has taken measures to reduce the cost of living

Is the rule of law being enforced with the Police operating independently?

Again the pre to post budget evaluation signified a drop among those who felt the rule of law is being independently enforced

Are appointments to the public sector based on merit and competence?

A moderate consent which has come down significantly from pre to post budget evaluation

Is the new administration efficient?

There was no significant difference in the moderate consent given in the pre to post budget evaluation

Were efficient and competent persons appointed as ministers?

There was hardly any difference in the results of both polls

Is the new administration speedy on decision-making?

The relatively low consent was not significantly different from pre to post budget evaluation

Are anti-corruption measures in force?

The relatively low consent was not significantly different from pre to post budget evaluation
