In celebration of 30 years of activism, the Women and Media Collective will hold a photographic exhibition of the collective struggle by many women and women’s groups. The exhibition will be open on February 10 at 4 p.m. and remain open to the public from February 11 to 13 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Colombo Public Library Hall, No.15, Sir Marcus Fernando Mawatha, Colombo 7.

The photography exhibition offers different perspectives of the working woman through the eyes of women, curated by acclaimed artist Chandragupta Thenuwara and his team. The photographs are by amateur and professional women photographers in the island.

The exhibition will also focus on 30 years of Women and Media Collective activism, women in trade union and labour struggles and have a screening of short films.
