Sing-a-long with Nalin and Marians

‘Sing along with Nalin andMarians’, an annual sing- along concert, organised by the members of Lions Club of Galkissa successfully staged this year too in the form of a musical evening for their annual Fund Raiser. ‘Sing Along with Nalin and Marians’ came alive at the BMICH (Banquet Hall) on Saturday, 31st January 2015 with popular band Marians along with popular singer Ronnie Leitch.
The Club has been organising similar public shows annually, and the ‘Sing Along’ event has become a much looked forward to programme by the friends, fellow Lions and well-wishers of Lions Club of Galkissa.
‘It was inspiring to observe a packed house of audience at the BMICH (Banquet Hall), singing and dancing to the scintillating rhythms of ‘Marians’ as every rupee earned from this noble venture goes to educate a child from a lower income group at the Pre School managed by the Club’ said Rasika de Alwis the head of the organising committee, who deserves a word of praise and appreciation for a job well done.
