Luke House at the top
View(s):Luke House emerged champions at the annual Inter-House Athletic Meet of St. Sebastian’s College held at the college ground in Moratuwa. The victorious Luke House outdid other contenders Alban, De La Salle and Bonaventure. The athletic meet was held on January 31.
The theme of this year’s athletic meet was the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’, out of which the four houses selected their house themes. Alban House took up the theme of Pyramids of Egypt while De La Salle House was decorated under the theme of the Coliseum of Rome. Bonaventure House took up the theme of Petra, Jordan’s national treasure. The victorious Luke House was decorated as the Great Wall of China.
Distinguished old boy of St. Sebastian’s College, Hithesha Fernando graced the occasion as the chief guest. Behind the success of the whole event was Rector, Rev. Fr. Bonnie Fernadopulle, Rev. Fr. Ruwan Pradeep, the prefect of game and Sports Coordinator, Jayashantha Fernando, who worked tirelessly to dish out a grand event. – NA
