Eight undergraduates, two from the University of Peradeniya and six from the University of Colombo, who did well at the first examination and opted to specialise in Economics were awarded Rs. 25,000 each as scholarships by the A.D.V.de S. Indraratna Foundation Trust at a ceremony at the University of Colombo recently. The presentation was made by the trust for the fourth successive year.
