‘Sergeant ge nandamma’ at Navarangahala
View(s):‘Sergeantge Nandamma’, a comedy written and directed by well known Sinhala film stunt actor Sando Harris, who ventured into the world of Sinhala theatre, which features him playing the role of Sergeant and Susila Kottege, otherwise known as Dayawathi, briniging to life the character of the mother- in –law, will go on the boards on Sunday March 1 at the Royal College Navarangahala Theatre, Colombo.
The supporting cast are well known artistes of the Sinhala theatre, Milinda Perera, Udayakumari, Prassana Fonseka, Nandana Hettiarachchi, Sooriya Bandara,Savindra Perera, Samantha Ayaan, Shakee among others.
Presented by S.Thomas’ College Bandarawela OBA, as a fund raiser for various projects to provide facilities to the present generation of students of the famous College in the Uva Province, the tickets for this 600th staging, are priced at 1000/-, 750/-. 500/- and 300/- and are available at all Vijitha Yapa Bookshops, Salaka Union Place, Sarasaviya Bookshops and at Idea,Showrooms, Liberty Plaza.
