But Ragama CC in their turn guided by Lahiru Milantha, Nilushan Nonis and Sanjaya Fernando ended the second day by making a bold reply of 220 for 2.

Sachith was the more aggressive of the pair as his unbeaten 113 came in just 87 balls that included six boundaries and eight towering sixes while Angelo’s knock of 100 comprised nine boundaries and two sixes. The pair was associated in an unbroken 186 runs for the seventh wicket.
Ragama CC in their turn though losing their first wicket with 37 runs on the board settled down. Lahiru who remained unbeaten on 92 along with Nilushan added 114 runs for the second wicket and later Lahiru was associated in an unbroken stand of 69 runs for the third wicket with Sanjaya. CCC resuming on their overnight score of 264 for 7 thanks to half tons from Lasith Abeyratne and Prasanna Jayawardena ended their innings by making a formidable 324 against Army SC who were restricted to 220 at Panagoda.
SLPA CC was on top against Moors SC when play stopped on the second day in the match at Braybrooke Place. SLPA CC after restricting Moors SC 180 went on to make 229.
Bloomfield after being in a strong position of 165 for 4 on day one lost their remaining six wickets for the addition of only 51 runs and collapsed to 216 against Tamil Union at P. Sara Stadium.
But they fought their way back when they bowled out the home team for a 179 to take a first inning lead.
