Results of the GCE O/L exam held last December 9 to 18 will be released on April 7, said Examinations Commissioner W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara.
“Despite heavy rains and floods in Puttalam, Anuradhapura, Mannar, Jaffna, Vavuniya and a number of other areas in the North and North Central Provinces, the exams were conducted in a manner that all students from affected areas were able to sit for the exams,” the Commissioner said.
577,220 candidates sat for the exams, of which 370,739 were school candidates and the rest private candidates.
