Udara, Lahiru, Nilushan shine; Ragama CC amass 487
Skipper Udara Jayasundara cracked a 127 inclusive of 12 boundaries and four sixes while Lahiru Milantha made knocks of 77 and 76 which laid the foundation for Ragama CC to amass a score of 432 for 8 against SSC on day two in the Premier League Plate encounter played at Reid Avenue.
Batting first, Udara along with Nilushan gave Ragama CC a flying start putting on a mammoth opening wicket stand of 195 runs.

Lahiru added 62 runs for the third wicket with Sameera de Zoysa and useful contributions coming in the middle order saw Ragama CC end day one on 341 for 4. SSC in their turn helped by half tons from Minod Bhanuka and Kaushal Silva made a bold reply of 134 for no loss.
Kanishka Amarasinghe was unfortunate to miss out on a ton by three runs in the match between Saracens SC and Air Force SC played at Braybrooke Place.
Kanishka rescued Saracens SC after they had lost two early wickets when he put on two valuable partnerships with the first being of 97 runs for the fifth wicket with Umesh Karunaratne and the other of 74 runs for the sixth wicket with Chanaka Ruwansiri helping Saracens SC end their innings with a formidable score of 353.
Air Force SC having ended on 15 for 1 resuming their innings on day two ended the day on 260 for 8 with Ranga Dissanayake and T. Nadeera cracking half tons.
The right-arm spin and pace combination of Shehan Jayasuriya and Ishan Jayaratne wrecked the Chilaw Marians as the duo shared nine wickets between them to bundle the Marians resuming on their overnight score of 90 for 5 for a score of 160.
The opening day’s play saw Colts taking first lease of the wicket being guided by Shehan Jayasuriya who made a 92 with 11 boundaries and three sixes helping his side to make a score of 301 which gave Colts a first inning lead.
