‘Neela Palingu Diya’ A story of an astrologer

At a time when astrologers play the prominent role not only at childbirth and marriage but deciding rulers for the country, ‘Neela Palingu Diya’, the latest teledrama tells a story about an honest astrologer. Directed by ‘Ektamge’ and ‘Thambapata Hendawa’ famed teledrama maker, Iresh Lokubandara the teleplay will be telecast at 8.30 pm belt on every weekday on Derana TV starting from March 30.
Story, screenplay and dialogue by Mahesh Rathsara Maddumaarachchi, and the play revolves around an astrologer who hails from a family of astrologers and who has dedicated his life to serve people with the subject he has mastered. He does not want to make money from astrologer though his greedy wife thinks differently.
The play stars Duleeka Marapana, Giriraj Kaushalya, Udith Abeyratne, Gayathri Dias, Ishara Sandamini, Nilukshi Fernando, Samudra Hikkaduwa, Akila Sandaruwan, and many others.
