Keen contests at Muslim Ladies College Kids Sports Meet
View(s):Muslim Ladies College Colombo organised its inaugural Kids Sports Meet which was held at the Cooray Park in Wellawatte recently. The day was filled with events that got the youngsters of Muslim Ladies College off from their regular academic activities. The youngsters keenly took part at segments that were lined up for them. Among them were fun events, team activities and colourful segments such as the drill display and a march past.
The Chief Guest for the event was Deputy Minister of Housing and Samurdhi, M.S.S. Ameer Ali while the Guest of Honour was Princess Maria Amor, the Founder President of We Care for Humanity. Hameed Al-Hussainie College Principal T.M. Nasumutheen, Former Divisional Director Education Zarook Khan, Muslim Ladies College Principal Dr. Hajarjahan Mansoor and the Past Pupils’ Association Vice President Feroza Muzzammil were present at the event. – NA
