‘Harpo’s Pizza’ expands to Nugegoda

Nugegoda last week.
After eight years of operation at ‘Bay Leaf’ and other Harpo’s restaurants, this will be the very first Harpo’s stand alone Pizza and Pasta Parlour outside Colombo. Conveniently located on Stanley Tillekeratne Mawatha at the centre of Nugegoda town, ‘Harpo’s Pizza’ offers dine in , take-away and delivery service for all pizza lovers to enjoy the sumptuous traditional wood fired, thin crust pizzas and homemade pastas, its famous for.
‘It has always been my plan to expand the Harpo’s Pizza and Pasta brand and Nugegoda town seemed an ideal location to start with the first such parlour. We have set our standard with the Italian pizzas and I wanted to introduce a Home- grown Pizza range along with a fresh pasta 
selection. This is the first in a few more to open in the near future’ said Harpo Gooneratne, the MD of the Chain.
The experienced team is headed by Chef Rasika Perera bringing in over 20 years exposure at recognised Italian Restaurants, in Singapore, along with Alec Van Cuylenburg as Director Operations and Arshad Ibrahim as Assistant Manager. Both with extensive experience in restaurant management, internationally and locally.
With its own brick wood fired oven, the concept is on serving homemade, home grown products with the pizza and pasta range, using fresh and healthier ingredients. There are 26 delicious flavours in 3 sizes which includes Colombo’s largest Pizza with 16 sumptuous slices.

The Pizza parlour has dine in facilities for 20 pax and also offers ‘take away’ and delivery service. The delivery zone covers as far as Kotte, Navinna, Boralesgamuwa and Mount Lavinia.
