Young talent to the fore at Carrom Nationals
View(s):Young and promising talent was exhibited at the recently concluded 14th Junior Carrom Nationals 2015 worked off at the Carrom Federation Headquarters, Maharagama.
The event was organised and conducted by the Carrom Federation of Sri Lanka it was evident that a bright future lay ahead the game of carrom in Sri Lanka and will find a special place at the international level. Every youngster who took part in this competition showed a lot of interest and dedication towards the game and their techniques can be matched with any senior player.
Prameda Mendis, Mohamed Shaheed and Detuni Nomaya who upset ranked players at the last Carrom Nationals had to fight hard for victory in the finals of their respective age groups as their opponents were not ready to surrender easily.
