Ceylon Chamber to facilitate Interior Designers and Condominium Developers associations
View(s):The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce recently entered into two separate agreements with the Sri Lanka Institute of Interior Designers and the Condominium Developers Association of Sri Lanka to facilitate their operations.
Ms. Swarna Obeysekere – Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Institute of Interior Designers signed the agreement on behalf of the institute while Pravir Samarasinghe, Chairman of the Condominium Developers Association of Sri Lanka signed on behalf of the Assocation. S. Thumilan, Vice Chairman of the Condominium Developers Association was present during the occasion.
Mangala Yapa, CEO / Secretary General of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce signed the two separate agreements, on-behalf of the Chamber. Ms. Alikie Perera, Deputy Secretary General of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce was also present during the signing of the agreements.
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce currently facilitates day to day operations of 21 trade associations and 22 bilateral business councils. The chamber’s role in providing secretariat services to the professional bodies in the country by using its internal resources has helped those institutions to cut down the back office work of theirs, who otherwise will need to put a lot of energy and resources to conduct their day to day operations.
