Science and S.Thomas’ triumph in Kandy

View(s): The two Mt. Lavinia Colleges – S. Thomas and Science recorded wins over Dharmaraja Kandy and St. Anthony’s Katugastota in their Inter-School rugby games in Kandy yesterday. Science College overcame Dharmaraja 59-33 at Bogambara while S. Thomas’ had the better of St. Anthony’s 30-17 at Nittawela.
Science’s 50 points were made up of 5 goals, 3 tries while Dharmaraja’s 33 were made up of 4 goals and a try.

At Bogambara STC’s 3o points consisted of a goal, 4 tries and a penalty while St. Anthony’s 17 was made up of 2 goals and a penalty).
The Maduranga brothers shone for Science College with their attacking play whilst Malinga and Wijesekera were the pick for the Rajans.
