Travel Trade Sports Club shuttle tournament on May 17
View(s):The 20th Travel Trade Sports Club Men’s and Women’s Badminton Championships 2015, sponsored by Serendib Leisure for the 5th successive year will take place on May 17 at S. Thomas’ College Indoor Stadium, Mt. Lavinia, commencing 8.30 am. Entries have been called from the TTSC Membership and will close on Wednesday, 13th May at 3.00 pm with Dilshan Gnanapragasam C/o Amaya Resorts and Spas, WTC, Level 27/East Tower, Echelon Square, Colombo 1.
The tournament will be conducted on 3 Categories, namely the Men’s Open, Women’s and Men’s Over 40 on a Team Championship basis.
The Men’s open tie will consist of 3 singles and 2 doubles, the Women’s, consisting 2 singles and 1 double and the Men’s Over- 40 consisting 2 Singles and adouble.
At the 2014 tournament conducted at the same venue on 28th September, Sri Lankan Airlines won all 3 titles. – LR
