Multi awarded play “Meya Thuwakkuwak Nowe” written and directed by Chamila Priyanka will go on the boards at 3.30 p.m and 6.30 p.m on Saturday May 30, at the Negombo Town Hall.
The winner of seven awards including the Best Play and the Best Direction at the State Drama Festival 2015, the cast of the play include Mayura Kanchana, Dhilum Bhuddika, Anjana Premarathne, Yashodha Rasadhuni, Pramodh Edirisinghe and Kanishka Fernando.
Behind the screen K.V.D. Amarathunga, Lakshani Amarathunga and Bianca Hansini design the stage setting while Chamara Ghamathige, Sameera Wimalasiri, Isuru Kashyapa, Kumudu Wickramathanthrige are in charge of stage management.
Make up by Palitha Abeylal and Hiran Abesekera, Lahiru Rathnayake handles stage lighting and the play is organised by Jude Srimal.
