The Old Girls Association (OGA) of Ananda Balika Vidyalaya Colombo organised its annual Netball Tournament at the school premises recently with members of the four houses — Meththa, Karuna, Muditha and Upekkha — participated. Upekkha House emerged champions beating Karuna House in the final.

Captain of the champion House — Upekkha, Nadee Kumarage and the skipper of the runner-up team Manjula de Silva received their awards from Deputy Principal Chintha Kanthi and Assistant Principal Swarna Abeywardena at the awards ceremony. Ruwani Muthugala of the Upekkha House was adjudged the best player of the competition. She received her award from Vice Presidents of the OGA Ruchira Abeywardena and Gayani Dikkumbura.
