Hotel Qantara bags 3 awards at April bloom 2015

Hotel Qantara, owned by Global Life Style Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, won three awards at the recently held “April Bloom 2015″ competition in Nuwara Eliya. Organized by the Municipal Council of Nuwara Eliya, the judging was conducted over 21 days by a 20-member independent panel headed by Dr. Sheromi Krishnaraja, the Director of Experiments & Advertising Division of the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.

Hotel Qantara was awarded first place under the categories of Flower Vase Decoration and Cutting of flowers and Creating a Decorative Fence made of Flowers.

The awards ceremony was held at the Victoria Park, Nuwara Eliya. Tourism and Sports Minister Navin Dissanayake was the Chief Guest and Chief Minister of Central Province Sarath Ekanayake, Minister Radha Krishnan, and the Mayor of Nuwara Eliya Mahinda Dodamgoda were also present at the event.
