‘Gindari’ the second installment of ‘Bahubuthayo’ has successfully passed 50 days at the theatres of Ridma and Cinema Entertainment circuits. According to the film producers the film has collected around Rs. 70 million.  Revolving around a she-devil in town the comedy movie once again narrates around Bunty and Lanty, a journalist and a photographer who are faced with a series of unexpected troubles.

Shot on location in and around Colombo and Anuradhapura K. D. Dayananda handled the camera and editing and sound management were by Praveen Jayaratne. Make up by Nalin Prematilake, art direction by Aruna Dias, the musical score is by Ananda Perera.

In the new film a number of new stars have joined to Paboda Sandeepani (Tikiri), Mahendra Perera (Lanty), Rodney Warnakula (Bunty) and Richard Manamudali who makes a comeback. They include Sriyantha Mendia, Lochana Imashi, Ravindra Yasas, Lucky Dias, Menike Attanayake, Rathna Sumanapala, Sarath Chandrasiri, Susila Kottage, Ariyasena Gamage and a few others.
