Multi awarded play in town
View(s):The winner of Best Play, Best Direction along with 7 other awards at State Drama Festival 2015, ‘Meya Thuwakkuwak Nowe’ written and directed by Chamila Priyanka will be staged at 3.30 p.m and 7.00 p.m on June 21 at the Lionel Wendt Theatre Colombo 7.
With Mayura Kanchana, Dhilum Bhuddika, Anjana Premarathne. Yashodha Rasadhuni, Pramodh Edirisinghe and Kanishka Fernando’s performance, K. V. D. Amarathunga, Lakshani Amarathunga and Bianca Hansinis stage set design, Chamara Ghamathige, Sameera Wimalasiri, IsuruKashyapa, Kumudu Wickramathanthriges handle stage management.
Palitha Abeylal’s does make up and Hiran Abesekera and Lahiru Rathnayake’s stage lighting, this drama will be organised by Jude Srimal. Tickets are available only at Lionel Wendi Theater and all seats have been box planned.
