Harold Jansz re-elected President of the Old Peterites’ Group of Pre-1970
View(s):Harold Jansz was unanimously re-elected as President for 2015/16 at the Annual General Meeting of the Old Peterites’ Group of Pre-1970 held on May 29 at the Old Boys Union Lounge., The Patron and Rector of St. Peter’s College, Rev. Fr Trevor Martin and the President of the Old Boys Union Romeish de Mel were present at the occasion.

The Rector in his address outlined plans of action towards taking St. Peter’s to a higher level of excellence in areas of education, spirituality, sports and all extra-curricular activities. He expressed his appreciation for the group’s sponsorship of scholarships to needy students and was confident of their continued support.
Romeish de Mel in his address thanked the batch for their support extended to the OBU. He added that being the oldest batch, they were an example to the younger groups. President Harold Jansz thanked the members for having re-elected him to a second term. He stated that the main objectives of the group were to bond members in a spirit of camaraderie and fellowship, also to assist the OBU wherever possible in their activities.
