Ping pong silver for Sri Lanka
View(s):Sri Lanka Junior Table Tennis players taking part in the South Asian Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championships 2015 at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi won four silver medals in the four team events they took part.
In the Cadet Boys Under-15 boys event Lankan posted a 3-0 win triumph over Nepal to finish second behind India to grab the silver medal with a walk-over from Pakistan. In the Girls segment Sri Lanka beat Maldives 3-0 and lost to India 3-0 in the finals.
Sri Lanka Junior Boys Under-18 peddlers defeated Nepal and received a walk-over from Pakistan. However they lost the final against India had to be satisfied with the silver. The Indians had been dominating the entire competition as the only team that they expected stiff resistance is from Sri Lanka but in all finals India scored easy victories to be unbeaten winners.

Junior Boys Under-18:
Sri Lanka beat Nepal 2-0
Krishan Wickremaratne beat Sobodh Limbu 11/4, 11/9, 9/11, 11/5; Udaya Ranasinghe beat Diken Maharajan 12/10, 11/8, 11/7.
