‘Susara Sandhwani’ Shepherdian talent on show
View(s):The maiden Orchestral Concert ‘Susara Sandhwani’ (Choral Symphony) of Good Shepherd Convent, Kotahena was held at the BMICH recently. The show focused on Shepherdian talent at its best. The Orchestra trained by Saman Nishantha was highly commended by the audience. The students performed dance sequences and songs to the beat of the backing orchestral music.
‘Our grateful thanks goes to Mrs. Sandya Perera, who the backbone of the students talents’ said the Rev. Principal of the Convent.
The chief guests at the two shows were Rev. Sister Fancine Muthugala, the Provincial head of the Good Shepherd Congregation in Sri Lanka and Pakistan and Visharadha Chandrika Sriwardena.
The Concert ‘Susara Sandhwani’ was the brainchild of Principal Rev. Sister Renuka Silva.
