Jason slams unbeaten double ton for Ragama
An unbeaten 231 inclusive of 23 boundaries and three sixes by left handed batsman Jason Perera was the highlight of the morning sessions proceedings in the Under 23 Division One cricket encounter between Ragama CC and CCC played at the CCC ground.
Jason’s marathon knock helped Ragama CC resuming from their overnight score of 336 for 3 to make a formidable score of 460 for 5 when play stopped for lunch.

Jason was involved in two fruitful partnerships with the first being a 155 runs for the opening wicket with Shaminda Fernando who made a 74 and the other of 144 runs for the second wicket with Janith Liyanage who chipped in with a knock of 76.
SLPA CC took the upper hand against Air Force SC as they have already taken a first inning lead when play stopped for lunch on day two in the match played at Kadirana.
Wanindu Hasaranga guided the side with a fine knock of 80 which had nine boundaries and a six enabling SLPA CC continuing from their overnight 162 for 7 to make 218. The opening days play saw Damith Silva and Hasaranga who together shared eight wickets combining to bundle out the Airmen for a low score of 116. Air Force SC batting the second time were 50 for 1.
Moratuwa SC too have obtained a first inning lead over SSC in the match played at the SSC ground. Moratuwa SC continued their domination from day one after making a score of 249 and then had SSC struggling on 63 for 4.
The second day’s play saw SSC being unable to make any headway as they were made to struggle for their runs again. They were only able to add a further 79 runs being bowled out for 142.
