Ruchi Sharma joins Ogilvy Sri Lanka as Group Chief Creative Officer
View(s):Ruchi Sharma, reputed creative person in the global advertising scene, has joined Phoenix Ogilvy Sri Lanka as Group Chief Creative Officer, overseeing the creative teams across the Ogilvy group in Sri Lanka – Phoenix Ogilvy, Neo@Ogilvy, Ogilvy PR, Geomety Global and Redworks.

This is Ms. Sharma’s second innings as in 2003, she worked with Ogilvy Sri Lanka as Executive Creative Director and under her creative leadership, Phoenix Ogilvy was the first agency in Sri Lanka to be recognized at the international awards, winning finalist status at Cannes, London International & Cliosand the best of Sri Lanka at the Indian awards show (the Abbies). The agency’s work was also recognized by the network globally & their work was published in Ogilvy Red Hot, selected by Ogilvy Worldwide creative council, the company said in a media release.
Ms. Sharma left Ogilvy Sri Lanka to join Lowe Bangkok as Regional Creative Director for South Asia & South East Asia to work across Unilever brands – Walls Ice Cream / Signal & Close Up / RexonaDeos / CLEAR anti dandruff shampoo/ Citra skin care range/ Sunlight / OMO detergent.
She then joined Saatchi & Saatchi in New York as the Creative Director, North America.
