View(s):The premiere show of the remake of outstanding play written by veteran writer and director Simon Nawagaththegama “Sudu Saha Kalu” will go on the boards at 7.00 pm on August 22 at the Lionel Wendt Theatre, Colombo 7.
Remake is done by Sriyantha Mendis, the play stars Roshan Pilapitiya, Jayalal Rohana, Wasantha Wittachchi, Kusum Renu, Nadeeshani Peliarachchi, Mahendra Weerarathna, Rathna D. Nambuge, Prageeth Eraegama, Uditha Gunarathne, Shan Amanda and Sriyantha himself.
Jagath P. Wijeweera handle the music, choreography and stage settings is by Mahendra Perera and make up is by Wasantha Wittachchi. Lighting and sound management of “Sudu Saha Kalu” is by Mihindu Madushanka while Sumedha Prasanna and Ruwan Kumara handle stage management. The play is produced and organised by Jude Srimal.
