Seylan Motor Show 2015 becomes the services hub in auto industry
View(s):The Seylan Colombo Motor Show 2015 opened at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre at BMICH this week, displaying a wide range of latest models of automobiles including modern electric and hybrid motor vehicles by the top dealers in the country.
Apart from vehicle dealers the show has attracted leading automobile suppliers ranging from lubricants, accessories, paints and other vehicle solutions under one roof. In addition the event showcased a bevy of classic cars for the entertainment of the crowd as well as a number of other events including stunt shows to entertain the participants.
The event has established among the target audience as the biggest motor exhibition experience, and it has become the services hub in the industry and a platform where members in the motoring industry meet each other in one forum.
The exhibition displayed all models of vehicle and services – motor cars, motor bikes, 4×4 jeeps, classic, vanguard car archive, watersports boats and sports equipment, finance and leasing companies, motor insurance companies, spare parts, audio and video kits, vehicle cleaning equipment, tyres, batteries, vehicle security systems under one roof related to the auto industry. This is the 8th consecutive year of this event with the total head count last year being more than 60,000. Around 80,000 visitors are expected to visit this year‘s motor show, an organiser said. The exhibition will conclude today-Sunday.
