A play about an unusual man

The comedy play “Gabbara Minisa” (Pregnant Man), will be staged at 3.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. on August 23 at K.C.P Theatre, Kadawatha. Produced by veteran actor Sriyantha Mendi the play stars Sarath Kothalawela, Wasantha Vittachchi, Malkanthi Jayasinghe, Sujeewa Priyalal, Mihiri Priyangani and Kusum Renu.
Music directed by Anthony Surendra, Derana dream star famed Upeka Nirmani will render her voice for the play.
Chorographed by senior lecturer Ariyarathne Kaluaarachchi, make up by Wasantha Vittachchi, the costume designer is Nipuni Mindis. Stage lighting is by Upali Weerasinghe, stage management is done by Himashi Vithanage and Sameera Hettiarachchi with the assistance of Neil Ravindra. Stage settings by Llewellin Vanderwall and still pictures by Hiran Costa.
An adaptation by Ajith Mendis of the book written by W. S. Wijesinghe, the drama is presented and organized by Jude Srimal.
