Sri Lankan Ambassador in Qatar presents credentials
View(s):The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Qatar , Prof. W.M. Karunadasa presented his credentials to Emir Sheik Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar –at Amir Divani on August 31.
The ceremony included a guard of honour followed by one on one discussions between the new envoy and the Deputy Emir.
“The Gulf Times” and “The Peninsula” had given front page coverage to the presentation of credentials by the Sri Lankan Ambassador along with the names of diplomats of eight countries who presented their credentials on the same day.
