Comic Art Foundation opened ‘Comic Art stall’ at the Colombo International Book fair 2015

In order to fulfil the needs of its fans spread all over the country along with new and old comic arts by veteran artistes “Comic Art stall” is organised at the ongoing Colombo International Book fair at BMICH by the National Comic Art foundation.

On the opening day of the exhibition on September 18 a collection of comic art books including Bandula Harischandra’s “Rahas Hasna” and “Cleopatra”, Janaka
Rathnayaka’s
“Kumaarayaanani”, Thalangama Jayasingha’ s “Yakada
Gaani”, Daya Rajapakshe’s “Weda haamuduruwo” and “Lawginidal” ,
Anton B Perera’s “Lucifer ge Dadabima”, Anura Srinath’s
“Aadaraneeya Rosi” and “Sinhaya”, Prageeth Abeydeera’s “Pol
Rawula”, Jude Srimal’s “Heta Nagaraya” and Rathnasiri Munasingha’s
“Pottasikuru” was released.

There are many other comic arts books by Sarath Madu, Aravinda, Anura Wijewardena, Janaka Illukkumbura, Deegoda Kumara, Sarath Kavirathna, Gunapaala Jayalath, T.D. Abeysuriya and Suneth Lakruwan and many more.

The exhibition will go on till September 27.
