‘Colours of Thoughts’: Exhibition by disabled, differently-abled children

‘Colours of Thoughts’ an exhibition and sale of arts and crafts by the disabled, differently-abled children and youth of ‘Meth Mihira’, the Special Education Centre of Koralawella, Moratuwa, is on today (September 20) from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Public Library auditorium, Colombo 7.

The wide-range of items on sale will include pillow cases, wine, bags, cards, carpets, key tags, rosary cases, plants and other gift items.

The proceeds from the sale of the exhibits will strengthen ‘Meth Mihira’ run as a labour of love by the Sisters of Charity.

This special education centre which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year aims to draw out the talents and practical knowledge of these disabled and differently-abled children and youth to enable them to stand on their own as part of society.
