View(s):Pathfinders, a children’s Islamic magazine, launched its latest issue last week.
The latest edition of the magazine focuses on Haj and features pop-up art of the Kaaba in Makkah in order to help teach the basic tenets of faith in an appealing manner.
Since its inception last year, Pathfinders has attempted to encourage curiosity and stimulate faith-based independent learning in children through its colourful, illustrated issues and has been a useful resource for teachers and parents.
The magazine which is aimed to be an educational and inspirational learning tool for Muslim children, helps teach religion in a fun and interactive way.
Pathfinders is published every three months and contains stories, pull-out books, board games, art and crafts, colouring series, interactive quizzes and puzzles while focusing on unique content.
The magazine covers topics such as Quranic studies, Arabic, stories of prophets Hadith, environmental issues and geography.
The magazine also regularly connects with readers through events such as the recently concluded Eid party, which brought together readers and a group of orphans for an evening of fun.
The magazine states that with a growing readership and encouragement received over the months, it hopes to begin charitable projects in order to give back to society and make a bigger impact.
The Pathfinders magazine is available at all leading bookshops.
