Senior citizens scrabble on Oct. 18
View(s):The annual All-island Senior Citizens Scrabble Tournament will be held on Sunday, October 18 at the Hilton Hotel.
It will be conducted in 2 categories: ” A” for contestants who will play according to OSW 12,the Collins Scrabble Dictionary, and “B” for those who prefer to play by the Oxford English Dictionary .
Two trophies, the Deshabandu Clara Motwani Cup will be awarded to the “A” division winner, and the Rasathy Kandasamy Memorial Cup to the “B” champion.
In order to add more excitement to the event, there will be spot prizes to be won at each of the games that will be played and special awards for the Highest Game score and the Highest Word score.
