AIS take Trimvirate Triangular Regatta
View(s):Asian International School emerged Overall Champions (Boys) at the Trimvirate Triangular Regatta held at the Colombo Rowing Club recently.

Asian International School, Gateway College and Bishops College took part in this triangular regatta and the lads of the Asian International School showed their prowess in the sport winning all the events in the Boys segment to finish as Overall Winners and to be the proud owners of the Trimvirate Trophy.
On their way to the championship Asian International oarsmen winning in the following events:
‘A’ Scull – Champaka Edirimanne – Gold Medal
‘A’ Double Scull – Thakesha Jayaratne (bow) and Kiaan Ahamed (stroke) – Gold Medal
‘B’ Double Scull – Champaka Edirimanne (bow) and Ujitha Hennayake (stroke) – Gold Medal
‘A’ Pair -Yuvin Wickramanayake (bow) and Khizer Ahamed (stroke) – Gold Medal
‘A’ Four – Nadun Hettiarachchi (bow), Champaka Edirimanne (stroke), Ujitha Hennayake (bow) and Girnath Rajendran (cox)
‘B’ Four – Sharaan Karunaratne (bow), Khizer Ahamed (stroke) Yuvin Wickramanayake (bow) Kiaan Ahamed (stroke) and Piven Ekanayake (cox) – L.R.
